2nd Annual Millennials Meet Executives: Haleh Bahrami from LifeLabs

Today we announce our 2nd speaker at our 2nd Annual Millennials Meet Executives #2016MME on Nov 16th at 5:00-8:00 pm Birmingham Centre.haleh-bahrami

Haleh spent her formative years in Iran, moving to Canada as a 15 year old.  After graduating high school she earned a degree in Microbiology, from UBC.  Her desire was to become a Medical Lab Technologist, so she headed off to BCIT for another 3 years to earn a diploma.
Haleh commenced her career at St. Paul’s Hospital, moving on to Canadian Blood Services and then LifeLabs (@LifeLabs) . A combination of hard work, and a willingness to take on new challenges allowed Haleh to steadily move up from Lab Tech to Director of Lab Operations in BC. Ms. Bahrami has never stopped learning. She embarked on her Masters degree in Leadership, specializing in Health Care, at Royal Roads University in 2008 and recently completed a certificate in Project Management at UBC.
As Director of Laboratory Operations BC, she is accountable for the overall operational performance of LifeLabs’ diagnostic testing facilities, ensuring delivery of premier quality and cost-effective laboratory services in the province. Haleh recently filled in as National VP of Operations for 6 months, as maternity leave coverage.
When not at work, Haleh enjoys spending time with her two children and family. She is a rookie DJ at her son’s hockey games and watches her daughter swim. She also loves travelling to new places and taking long walks on the sea wall.

Looking forward to seeing everyone on November 16th!  Open to all senior Sauder students. Spaces are limited – register on COOL today!
