BWT Vancouver is excited to introduce our keynote speaker for our Annual BWT Marquee Event 2016, Tracey Arnish from Canfor!

Tracey Arnish was appointed as Head of Human Resources and Senior Vice President, People and Culture at Canfor in September 2014. In this role, Tracey is responsible for Canfor’s people strategy, ensuring that Canfor is positioned as the global employer of choice in the industry. Tracey is passionate about ensuring a culture that enables each and every individual to achieve their purpose and grow a meaningful career with Canfor.

Under Tracey’s leadership in key areas like Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards and Talent Management and Development, her team delivers an end-to-end talent strategy to attract, acquire and optimize the talent that it needs now and for the future.

Passionate about building an organization that attracts and retains the best talent, Tracey brings focus to developing a culture that enables the achievement of the strategic business plans and supports colleagues in achieving their career best with an employer of choice. As a mentor and coach, Tracey supports talent to realize their full potential. A conference speaker and panelist Tracey has participated both as a keynote and breakout session speaker at numerous global conferences.

With over 15 years of progressive Human Resources experience, Tracey has worked in both the private and public sector with organizations such as Air Canada, Translink, the National Hockey League’s Vancouver Canucks, and the British Columbia Transmission Corporation.

Supporting children and families battling pediatric cancer is an important personal priority for Tracey. She sits on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement British Columbia and is the Vice Chair of the Board of Ronald McDonald House BC & Yukon. Tracey holds an MBA.
